Again?

In processing the recent campaign results and the slogan “Make America Great Again”, I created a series of twelve collages. Each depicts critical moments in the civil rights, disability rights, and queer rights movements. These are interspersed with images and text relating to communities, lifestyles, and ways of existing that are considered deviant. Spray paint was used to reference street art’s long history of political activism in graffiti. Simply reiterating the question, “Again?”
